Congratulations to the 2016-17 CONNECT Cohort!
Starting with a kick-off session in December 2016, we launched our first interracial, multi-faith cohort which we rebranded as CONNECT. We did this to make clear what our purpose was- build community for folks to learn with and from each other- and to be as inclusive as possible for people from a variety of backgrounds.
Thanks to generous funding from the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, we were also able to build a toolkit of resources for our peers building community for learning, social protesting, grassroots activism, dialogue, and spiritual growth.
A big thanks to all of our (fifteen) incredible, thoughtful, reflective, open cohort members- it was an honor to be in community with you.
Join our Leadership Team
We are seeking passionate, energetic, driven young people in their 20's and 30's to help build and run this ship. We are especially interested in people who like to connect with people and organizations, design learning curricula, manage operations, and creative artists who can help us document and share our work with the broader community of thinkers, learners, and world changers. If you are seeking an opportunity to lean in, step up, lead, and build, then connect with us.
Applications are Open for our Next Cohort
This year’s CONNECT cohort seeks to explore the roots of anti-Semitism, the history of Jewish social activism in the U.S., the ambivalence social justice oriented Jews may feel about Israel, and how this is all playing out in the social justice arena today. The purpose is to share, learn about our history as Jews and activists, and be better equipped to confront challenges we may encounter as Jews in social justice spaces. If this resonates with you, and you'd like to learn more about what we're thinking for the 2017-18 cohort, then reach out via our application form below.
